i LOVED LADY GAGA!!! ECCENTRIC as she is! I too sometimes want to cover my face with red lace...and/or climb into a tree and snag a beautiful birds nest, spray paint it white, and create a frame for my face. oh the artistry!

i am so thankful to beyonce for being fantastic and loving. she deserves all of the awards that she can get.

i am now running through my schedule with my new management. how exciting is it to have new management! well, i'll tell you...ITS EXCITING!

when i hit the ON DEMAND button. i just want to watch a movie for crying out loud!!!!! how hard does this REALLY have to be!!!?????!!!!!??? i swear.
i think it's time to start writing in a journal again. you know, does it ever strike you as sad that we don't really hand write a lot of things anymore??! I mean, the way i see it is...i might forget how to write!!!!
so, i went to this birthday party last night out in the woods. it was a great little house..in the woods. i mean, i would be terrified to live out in the woods..down a long and winding gravel road.....across a small stream....with no bridge....in the woods. i LOVE the woods. it's just a bit freaky to think of living out there....my question is.....how did the property owners ever even FIND that property?!?! hmmmm.....i guess you had to be there. there may or may not have been some peeing going on in the woods....i think that's funny.....it wasn't me!
joe pesci is funny too. such a small dude. i just love him! you know he acts the same in real life as he does in Casino.
i really wanted Glee to be a great show. not sure that it is. I tried watching...i had to change the channel. i mean..HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET TO NO POINT?! there should be a show called SHOW CHOIR. that's something i can get into. heeheehee...go ATTACHE'!
i love holidays. i also love traveling. i think the next stop is L.A.~! we are working on a show date out there. So, if i have any Californians that are interested in coming to a show of mine...out in good ol L.A......hollah at a sista......it's probably gonna be at the end of October. Now DOESNT THAT SOUND FUN! yes...is my answer.
i'm getting antsy for the show this weekend in good ol' CASHVILLE. Doors are at 8. Show starts at 9 with Cade Doyle..then Philip Lassiter....then ME! I hit the stage at about 10. Maybe 10:15...but NO LATER !!! so, if you're in the area.....LET ME SEE YOUR FACE!!!!!!!!! THE DATE: SEPTEMBER 12, 2009

have you ever had butterflies and you weren't sure why? I DO feel something...maybe it's a gut feeling and not butterflies. Hnmmmmmmm...it won't seem to leave me for very long. I wonder if there is something surprising around the corner??!??! Or maybe something about to come true that I've had in my mind for quite some time?????? OR maybe something WONDERFUL is about to happen that i've had taped up to my vision board! In any case...I think the bobcat in the backyard is a sign of something to come. I read some totem thing about how it stands for patience...and/or something HIDDEN that should be revealed...and/or the need to get rid of something in your life. HOW can it mean all of those things? Why not just one of them so that it's super clear. I have to admit that I'm not even sure why I care.

who let the cats OUT OF THE BAG!!!! The really really dirty, ugly ones that roam around town...biting people?!????!? I am not entirely SURE where they even come from. Hell, I believe. I am SURE that everyone in the world runs into these types of creatures..at some point. RIGHT>!>? Or is it just me??!? Hmmmmm....
I bought a crown with a big NUMBER 2 on it today! Along with a wand that has a HUGE STAR at the end of it! And it's all SPARKLY!!
And, I bought worms and crawly bugs...fake ones of course! Though this all seems SUPER random.....I have to tell you they are for a special small boy and small girl in my life that i call "Sir Clyne" and "Miss D". They will be turning 2 & 3 this month and I am OBVIOUSLY super excited to be helping PARTY PLAN!!!! If you only knew how absolutely PRECIOUS these little small people are!~ I know, I know....we all think that when they belong to our families....HOW WONDERFUL it is! Small bugs and worms and princess crowns!!!!

Ok...we have a show coming up. We need ALLLL of you to come on out and bring your friends. Lets PACK the place! We will be posting up some flyers that you can print out to help spread the word. Bring them to your college, stick them on your friends cars when they aren't looking...leave them on the table at your favorite coffee shop. WHATEVER it is you do...weeee will love you for it. OH...and don't forget...if you DO help us out...let us know! :) All that cool stuff will be posted up in the next few days.

I guess I need to tell you a lil about the show. Here we go...JUNE 12th...MERCY LOUNGE....The time is TBD....Will be posting all that ASAP. The amazing CADE DOYLE will be opening. We reallllly want to pack this place....so get out of the house during CMA FEST week. Promise it will be a good time.

We'll be doing a lil preview of that show on June 9th at Limelight. Its for the Nashville Navy show. Just 3 songs...but it will be fuuuuuun....so come on out. 6pm.

i haven't had it since i was a little girl. And it sux! well, I actually got a shot so it's not as irritating as it could be. i'm glad the sun is shining for a minute. except that I can't get out in it cuz my a** is SICK! glad i didn't have to do anything MAJOR yesterday or today...well, unless a spray tan is major. it kinda is....when you don't want skin cancer, yet you want to look tan.
what am i talking about>>???!??!?!
we leave for Maryland tomorrow. Tomorrow night we play for something that has to do with fire fighters (my daddy;s a fire fighter) and benefiting them..in Urbana. then on to play a private benefit in Echo Park on saturday night. next stop is new york CITY!!!!! we play on monday night with margaret durante..im actually only singing bgv's with her, but it's gon be good! she's country and her first single is one that me, stephony smith, and lisa carver wrote. it's called "PUT YOURSELF IN MY BLUES". anyways, she might let us sing a couple of our own and that's cool. we're at the BITTER END at 7 p.m. so, if you're around...come out!
my fingers are getting shaky. does that mean that i have fever?? i actually am carrying a small bit of fever around. again...sux
but it could be worse...so, no complaints...

Ummm, I went to Urban Outfitters today and bought a shirt. It was cute and it has paint on the front of it. black paint.

Shawna had "The Best Day Ever" and so we bought that shirt as well. So, don't buy that one..it's taken.
By the way...MzZippy got a "pupcake" for her BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! She freaked oUt! I meant to make the "U" caps...
IT had pink dog icing...though she is NOT REALLY a pink kinda gal...She didn't mind....well, in fact...she DID mind....I asked her to sit for her pupcake and she did. So, she minded. yes, i confess. It's BAAAAAD. I mean, not my pits or anything like that...It's my LEGS~ They are ON MY LAST NERVE but i cannot make myself get up to shave them. So, TOMORROW will have to do. First thing in the a.m.
What in the world was up with Drew Barrymore's accent in "Grey Gardens". WEIRD.
i wish i could wear red lipstick. it looks strange on me and makes my teeth look yellow. AND MY TEETH ARENT YELLOW! so, i don't understand why it does that to me. plus, i think DREW B. gets sexier as she ages.
I think it's disturbing when it rains and my dog doesn't want to be dry. almost like she doesn't have sense enough to get outta the rain. although...we are sorda alike, i must say. i LOVE to get out in the rain..barefooted.

about all of the interesting things that i could be keeping you up to date on. like...ummm....well, first of all...studio. feb. 20. ...uhhhhh....mzzippy hates her new food...so, of course....I am changin it AGAIN. also...there is a coyote that is living in the woods behind my house and he took a dump in my yard yesterday while i was writing a song. so, i screamed at him and he ran away. but he left the dump, nonetheless and im afraid he wants to eat mzzippy. he didn't say that, but that's how coyote's roll. i think you should know that i bought a great new black hat today....which is one more addition to my obsessive collection of black hats that i tell myself i am going to wear in photo shoots that never happen. of course, there WILL be a new photo shoot coming up and i can't wait!! im sure you can't either since you've had to look at the same ones for some time now. i'm getting younger...no worries......
i am SO not paying attention to the rules on the 25 random things about me! ive gotten like 75 of them and i STILL haven't written my own...im trying to keep my secrets...hA! yeah, right...............................
