lights...why must they burn out so soon?
Can't we love people so much that they can't imagine taking their own lives? Isn't there a way to combat the sadness? Where are our friends? Are we too busy to really notice when someone is dying? today i need chili.
is that how you spell chili? am i bored? i like the weather, but i hate this tickle in my throat. i am blaming the weather. i can't figure out what i'm supposed to be figuring out today. im super happy that it's friday...im tired of thinking of this week. there is so much to do. JITTERY COFFEE ARMS....
isn't it freaky weird when u get all shaky from too much coffee. that cannot be good for me.
how about those vma's last night.>>>!???!???!?!? KUDOS to lil' miss taylor swift for her big win!! and why on earth didn't someone kick KANYE'S ASSSSSSSSSS?!??!?!???
what in the world>?!?!??!??!??!?!? he should SURELY be banned. I mean, seriously?! who taught that dude how to be? OBVIOUSLY noone.

i LOVED LADY GAGA!!! ECCENTRIC as she is! I too sometimes want to cover my face with red lace...and/or climb into a tree and snag a beautiful birds nest, spray paint it white, and create a frame for my face. oh the artistry!
i am so thankful to beyonce for being fantastic and loving. she deserves all of the awards that she can get.
i am now running through my schedule with my new management. how exciting is it to have new management! well, i'll tell you...ITS EXCITING!

how many times can comcast be messed up
when i hit the ON DEMAND button. i just want to watch a movie for crying out loud!!!!! how hard does this REALLY have to be!!!?????!!!!!??? i swear.
i think it's time to start writing in a journal again. you know, does it ever strike you as sad that we don't really hand write a lot of things anymore??! I mean, the way i see it is...i might forget how to write!!!!
so, i went to this birthday party last night out in the woods. it was a great little house..in the woods. i mean, i would be terrified to live out in the woods..down a long and winding gravel road.....across a small stream....with no bridge....in the woods. i LOVE the woods. it's just a bit freaky to think of living out there....my question is.....how did the property owners ever even FIND that property?!?! hmmmm.....i guess you had to be there. there may or may not have been some peeing going on in the woods....i think that's funny.....it wasn't me!
joe pesci is funny too. such a small dude. i just love him! you know he acts the same in real life as he does in Casino.
i really wanted Glee to be a great show. not sure that it is. I tried watching...i had to change the channel. i mean..HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET TO NO POINT?! there should be a show called SHOW CHOIR. that's something i can get into. heeheehee...go ATTACHE'!
i love holidays. i also love traveling. i think the next stop is L.A.~! we are working on a show date out there. So, if i have any Californians that are interested in coming to a show of mine...out in good ol L.A......hollah at a sista......it's probably gonna be at the end of October. Now DOESNT THAT SOUND FUN! yes...is my answer.
i'm getting antsy for the show this weekend in good ol' CASHVILLE. Doors are at 8. Show starts at 9 with Cade Doyle..then Philip Lassiter....then ME! I hit the stage at about 10. Maybe 10:15...but NO LATER !!! so, if you're in the area.....LET ME SEE YOUR FACE!!!!!!!!! THE DATE: SEPTEMBER 12, 2009
THE TIME: 9-11p.m.
THE PLACE: THE MERCY LOUNGE, NASHVILLE, TN
THE SHOW: SHELLY FAIRCHILD & THE PEOPLE
oh, and just a tiny update on the record...

I do feel something...
have you ever had butterflies and you weren't sure why? I DO feel something...maybe it's a gut feeling and not butterflies. Hnmmmmmmm...it won't seem to leave me for very long. I wonder if there is something surprising around the corner??!??! Or maybe something about to come true that I've had in my mind for quite some time?????? OR maybe something WONDERFUL is about to happen that i've had taped up to my vision board! In any case...I think the bobcat in the backyard is a sign of something to come. I read some totem thing about how it stands for patience...and/or something HIDDEN that should be revealed...and/or the need to get rid of something in your life. HOW can it mean all of those things? Why not just one of them so that it's super clear. I have to admit that I'm not even sure why I care.

I would be interested to know...
who let the cats OUT OF THE BAG!!!! The really really dirty, ugly ones that roam around town...biting people?!????!? I am not entirely SURE where they even come from. Hell, I believe. I am SURE that everyone in the world runs into these types of creatures..at some point. RIGHT>!>? Or is it just me??!? Hmmmmm....
I bought a crown with a big NUMBER 2 on it today! Along with a wand that has a HUGE STAR at the end of it! And it's all SPARKLY!!
And, I bought worms and crawly bugs...fake ones of course! Though this all seems SUPER random.....I have to tell you they are for a special small boy and small girl in my life that i call "Sir Clyne" and "Miss D". They will be turning 2 & 3 this month and I am OBVIOUSLY super excited to be helping PARTY PLAN!!!! If you only knew how absolutely PRECIOUS these little small people are!~ I know, I know....we all think that when they belong to our families....HOW WONDERFUL it is! Small bugs and worms and princess crowns!!!!
If only everyone could be so innocent and pure!

do i know a good one when i see one?
i am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the newest edition to our family..AUDREY ELLE.....i don't think she realizes how much fun this family is! well....she will......
MzZippy isn't feeling well for some reason. Maybe it's because she CANNOT stop eating strange things that she finds on the ground. AND i say to myself..."self....why???"
did i mention that i have brick burn on my face?! it looks like someone punched me...or scratched me a lot....on one side...the right one to b exact....and yes, i fell..on the steps leading UP to my house...because Im BRILLIANT!!
boy, i need to see a good movie. im sick of this "no good movies" part of the summer that we're in. why does that happen?? Ok, so instead of complaining..i will pose the question..."CAN SOMEONE SUGGEST A REALLY FANTASTIC MOVIE FOR ME TO WATCH???" and, don't say "THE HANGOVER" cuz i saw it..and laughed til my face hurt.

i'm in the studio. it's a good place to be. music is being made. backgrounds are being sung. i need ice cream, but i can't have any. im singing...
my dog is ready to be let outside..her tummy was a little sicky today. she's not happy..im sure of it.
i want to see a great great movie. not sure that there is one out at the moment. though i really think THE HANGOVER is prob funny.
now, if you're looking for me this weekend, and im sure you all will be.....i will be somewhere around town with clear tape and an arm full of posters wrappin' some poles! yes, i did say that. i really mean telephone poles and light poles and electrical boxes and windows and EvERYTHING!!!! cuz if don't.....HOW WILL PEEPS KNOW I GOTTA SHOW?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?
